Events

LIAAC's fundraising efforts are essential to the agency's autonomy and allow for the development of important programs and services not funded by other sources.

A significant portion of LIAAC's annual operating budget is generated by privately raised funds. Raising funds, however, is not the only goal, development events are also an effective way to raise public awareness. LIAAC's major fundraising events have become community standards and the success of each event depends a great deal upon the generous support received from the business and corporate community through corporate sponsorships. Individuals, too, can become major contributors to any of the events; in the past, major contributors have included families who have lost loved ones to HIV/AIDS.

Chef's Secrets

Top chefs prepare their award-winning signature dishes right in front of your eyes. The tasting will be accompanied by a raffle and silent auction, which will include gift certificates to Long Island's best restaurants as well as show tickets, performing arts packages, local getaways, and several salon packages.
