Hepatitis C
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne infectious disease that is caused by the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infecting the liver. HCV can cause liver inflammation (hepatitis) that is often asymptomatic (no symptoms), but ensuing chronic HCV can result in cirrhosis (fibrotic scarring) of the liver or liver cancer.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs)
STDs are spread from person to person through vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Some STDs, however, are also transmitted by skin-to-skin contact. Some of the most common STDs are: HIV, Chlamydia, genital herpes, genital warts (HPV), gonorrhea, hepatitis B, syphilis and trichomoniasis.

Substance (Ab)use is a pattern of behaviors that display many adverse results from continual use of a substance. Substance Dependence is a group of physiological symptoms that indicate the continual, compulsive use of a substance in self-administered doses despite the problems related to the use of the substance.

According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in 2004, mental health disorders account for four of the top 10 causes of disability in the US. These disorders include: major depression (also called clinical depression), manic depression (also called bipolar disorder), schizophrenia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
